LiftMaster Garage Door Openers

LiftMaster is made by The Chamberlain Group and sold through professional dealers. Partridge Door Company installs LiftMaster residential garage door openers and commercial door operators across central Mississippi. We also stock LiftMaster parts, so we can repair the LiftMaster opener you already have.

LiftMaster residential openers

We’ll help you choose a model based on your door’s size and weight, how close the garage is to living space and the features you want:

  • Belt drive openers. Quiet operation for garages attached to the house or with a bedroom above.
  • Chain drive openers. Durable and dependable, a good fit for detached garages and heavy doors.
  • Wall-mount openers. Mounted beside the door on the torsion bar instead of on the ceiling. They free up overhead space, suit high ceilings and storage racks, and run very quietly.

Many current LiftMaster openers include myQ smart control, which lets you open, close and check your door from your phone. Battery backup, LED lighting and camera models are also available.

Choosing the right LiftMaster opener

Match the opener to your door and how you use the garage. Heavier wood and oversized doors need more lifting power. A garage under a bedroom calls for a quiet belt drive or wall-mount unit. If you want to check and control your door from your phone, look at myQ-equipped models. We’ll make sure the door is balanced and the springs are right before we install, because no opener lasts long on a door that’s out of balance.

LiftMaster commercial operators

For businesses, we install LiftMaster commercial door operators on sectional, rolling steel and roll-up doors. They’re built for frequent daily cycles and can be set up with the safety devices and controls your doors need. → Commercial Overhead Doors · Rolling Steel Doors

LiftMaster opener repair

We carry LiftMaster parts and stock gear kits for LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Sears openers. A stripped drive gear is one of the most common reasons an opener hums but won’t move the door. Other common repairs:

  • Logic boards and wall controls
  • Safety sensors that are misaligned or failing
  • Travel limit and force adjustments
  • Remotes and keypads

We service and repair openers of all makes and models, not just LiftMaster. If your opener struggles to lift the door, the real problem may be a spring, not the opener. → Spring Repair

LiftMaster or Genie?

We install both, along with Linear. We’ve been a Genie dealer since 1979 and trust its reliability. We’re also glad to install LiftMaster when its features, such as wall-mount models or myQ, fit what you need. We’ll explain the trade-offs honestly.

Service area

We install and repair LiftMaster openers in Clinton, Jackson, Madison, Ridgeland, Brandon, Pearl, Flowood, Byram and across central Mississippi.

LiftMaster opener FAQ

Is LiftMaster the same as Chamberlain?

Both brands are made by The Chamberlain Group. LiftMaster is the line sold and installed through professional dealers, and Chamberlain is sold mainly in retail stores.

What is a LiftMaster wall-mount opener?

A wall-mount opener attaches to the wall beside the door and turns the torsion bar directly, instead of pulling the door with a rail on the ceiling. It frees up ceiling space and runs quietly. It works with doors that have torsion springs.

Why does my LiftMaster opener hum but not open the door?

A worn or stripped drive gear is a common cause. It can also be a disconnected trolley or a door that’s too heavy because a spring is broken. Don’t keep running the opener. Call us to check it.

Can you program a new LiftMaster remote?

Yes. We supply LiftMaster remotes and keypads and program them to your opener.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Our products and services come with a 1-year warranty, followed by the manufacturers’ warranties.
