Why choose the Amarr Horizon

Horizon takes the full-view idea and stretches it sideways. Instead of a grid of square-ish panes, you get long, slim bands of glass that run across the door, which suits low, wide modern homes and prairie-style designs. It shares Vista’s aluminum frame, finishes and glass list, so you can tune it from bright and open to fully private.

The same finish range as Vista: six anodized finishes, White powder coat, and many powder coat and PVDF colors, plus RAL and custom. Glass from clear and Low-E to tints, frost, snow, whiteout and black ice. Door width decides how many glass bands each section gets.

Construction, insulation and specs

Heights run 6′ to 20’1″. The ClearView strut system is needed only on doors 16′ and wider. WindPro reinforcement is available. Like any aluminum door, it isn’t insulated like steel, so pick insulated glass if energy matters.

Manufacturer: 5-year finish (3 years for RAL and custom paint), 5-year workmanship and 5-year hardware warranty from Amarr. Partridge Door: we add a 1-year warranty on the products we sell and the installation work we do, and Amarr’s coverage continues after that. Amarr Horizon FAQ

What's the difference between Horizon and Vista?

Both are aluminum glass doors with the same finishes and glass. Vista uses a classic full-view grid, while Horizon uses long, narrow horizontal glass bands.

How wide can the glass bands be?

Up to 8’2″ wide, depending on door width and glazing type.

Do I need a strut system?

Amarr’s ClearView strut is required only on Horizon doors 16′ and wider, and it’s designed not to block the view.

Can I get privacy with Horizon?

Yes. Frost, obscure, snow, whiteout and black ice glass all hide the interior while letting light in.
